Essex Wildlife Trust Records Centre is pleased to anounce that we have signed an agreement with Thames Water to provide species and habitats data to them until  2021, as part of a joint agreement with three other Environmental Records Centres that cover the Thames Water service area.

The agreement, negotiated in partnership with Bedfordshire and Luton Biodiversity Recording and Monitoring Centre, Hertfordshire Environmental Records Centre, and Northamptonshire Biodiversity Records Centre, ensures that Thames Water will be able to make use of data from all four records centres in a standardised format in their day to day operations. This means that almost all of Essex is covered by service level agreements with our local water companies, following the signing of a similar regional agreement with Anglian Water in late 2015.
