Learn new skills - Become an Undersea Explorer!

Undersea Explorers

DO YOU WANT TO INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION? DO YOU WANT TO LEARN NEW SKILLS?

If so, then why not volunteer to become an Undersea Explorer?

We are looking for new recruits to train in the delivery of our marine awareness snorkelling programme. At Essex Wildlife Trust we are passionate about the importance of people of all ages having the opportunity to learn about their marine environment. Undersea Explorers is an exciting new educational marine awareness programme aimed at KS2 children promoting awareness of the UK’s fascinating undersea landscape and wildlife. Simulating the marine environment in the safety of a swimming pool, we use props such as lifelike seaweed and jellyfish to introduce marine wildlife through games and activities. Activities include species identification, food chains, habitats and adaptation. Plus life skills; team working, water confidence and snorkelling.
